A local team, a local love

We've been showing travellers our island for over three years.

Our story

TIL Travel is a Malagasy family-owned inbound tour operator based in Antananarivo, founded in December 2023. We’re a hands-on local team, closely involved in every trip we arrange. Our director completed her business studies in the UK in late 2024 and took over the day-to-day management of the company in 2025. We design fully tailor-made itineraries and offer a selection of pre-planned packages covering adventure, nature, culture, wildlife and beach travel — for independent travellers, couples, families and small groups. Accommodation, transport, guides and activities are managed directly by our team on the ground. We are licensed and insured, and already work with international trade partners on both tailor-made and set-departure programmes. We respond to quote requests within 48 hours on business days, with round-the-clock support for any trip in progress. Our long-term goal is straightforward: to become a trusted reference point for travel to Madagascar — for travellers and for the agencies who sell it.

Our values

We believe travel should benefit the people and places that make it possible. We pay fair wages, source locally, and respect the communities and fady (taboos) that shape Malagasy life. We are proud to show you our country, and proud to do it the right way.

Meet our Managing Director

Mariah Razafindrabe Travel has always been part of my life. Since I was young, I was the one organising family trips, choosing where to go, what to do and which activities to try. Over the years, this grew into a real love for travelling and discovering new places. The decision to take over TIL Travel also came from something I noticed while travelling. I often met people who knew very little about Madagascar, and some didn’t even know the country existed. Others only knew it from the film. I wanted to help change that and give more people the chance to discover Madagascar for themselves. I speak Malagasy, French and English. In the way I work, I put people first. I believe that a positive working environment, open communication and mutual respect make a real difference. In the long term, I want to contribute to Madagascar in my own way, even on a small scale, by helping more people discover the country and supporting local tourism.
