This 15-day journey explores the west and south of Madagascar. See lemurs and the Fosa in dry forests, hike through national parks and mountainous landscapes, and discover the dramatic Tsingy rock formations. Travel along the coast by boat and unwind on quiet beaches, while spotting endemic wildlife along the way. A journey of contrasts, blending wildlife, forests, mountains and coast.Day 1 – Arrival in Antananarivo
Airport pickup and transfer to the hotel. Overview of the tour.
Day 2 – Flight to Morondava
After breakfast, transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule to take the domestic flight to Morondava. The flight takes about 1 hour. The afternoon is leisure time.
Day 3 – Morondava - Bekopaka
Early morning departure for Bekopaka. It’s shaping up to be a long day on this secondary road. After crossing the Tsiribihina River by ferry, we’ll stop for lunch in Belo-sur-Tsiribihina before continuing on to Bekopaka.
Day 4 – Tsingy of Bemaraha National Park
After breakfast at the hotel, we'll set out for a tour of Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park. This tour lasts about half a day. The afternoon will be free-time to visit the village of Bekopaka.
Day 5 – Bekopaka - Morondava
After breakfast, departure to return to Morondava. We’ll stop for lunch in Belo-sur-Tsiribihina before continuing our journey to catch the sunset at the Avenue of the Baobabs.
Day 6 – Morondava - Belo sur Mer
After breakfast, transfer by boat to Belo-sur-Mer. The trip takes about 3 hours. The afternoon will be free time to enjoy the beach and meet the locals.
Day 7 – Belo Sur Mer - Andavadoaka
After breakfast, departure by boat to Andavadoaka. The trip is a bit long, but we can take breaks to admire the coastal scenery along the way.
Day 8 – Andavadoaka

Day 9 – Andavadoaka - Ifaty
After breakfast, transfer by boat to Ifaty. The afternoon will be free time to relax. You’ll have the opportunity to visit the Vezo fishing village on this day.
Day 10 – Ifaty - Isalo
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Isalo. The lunch will be in Sakaraha before continuing on to Isalo.
Day 11 – Isalo National Park
After breakfast, departure to visit Isalo National Park. Explore lemurs, beautiful scenery, a canyon, a natural pool, and more. Lunch in the park. Afterward, return to the hotel. End the day watching the sunset from the window at Isalo.
Day 12 – Isalo - Ranomafana
After breakfast, departure for Ranomafana. We’ll stop for lunch at Anja Restaurant. You’ll have the opportunity to visit the Anja Community Reserve, located right across from the restaurant, before continuing on to Ranomafana.
Day 13 – Visit of Ranomafana National Park
After breakfast, departure to visit Ranomafana National Park. The visit lasts about 3 hours. Then, return to the hotel for lunch. The afternoon will be leisure time.
Day 14 – Ranomafana - Antananarivo
After breakfast, departure to Antananarivo. It will be a long drive, but you’ll have time to admire the scenery along the way. Lunch stop in Ambositra, where you’ll have time to browse the craft shops.
Day 15 – Souvenirs shopping & international departure
After breakfast, departure for souvenir shopping in the city and to explore Queen's palace Rova Manjakamiadana. Lunch will be in city centre restaurant before transfer to the international airport according to your flight schedule. End of the trip.
